“Why?”

Mark Phillips and Linda McCall, seasoned travellers and digital nomads, have been on the road since 2015. With backgrounds that span over a decade in global travel, including adventures in more than 100 countries, they experienced firsthand the challenges that remote workers face in finding suitable accommodations. They noticed that traditional booking platforms like Airbnb.com and Booking.com often cater to short-term tourists or long-term residents but fall short of addressing the specific needs of digital nomads who require more than just a place to stay—they need a conducive environment for both work and life.

Inspired by these insights and their own experiences as digital nomads, Mark and Linda founded Nomad Stays. Their mission was clear: to create a global platform that simplifies the process of finding and booking stays that are not only affordable and flexible but also equipped to support the work-life balance that digital nomads require. Nomad Stays curates a network of properties worldwide that are tailored specifically to the needs of remote workers, offering the infrastructure and community support that allow them to maintain productivity while exploring new locations.

“While we don't see ourselves as pushing too many limits we also don't know too many people that have done things like backpacking the length of Africa in their 40s, ridden a motorbike down the Silk Road from China to Europe, learned to fly sports planes and hot air balloons, being selected by the Saudi Royal Family to crew first class jets around the world with their family, or starting multiple successful businesses.

The mindset to keep pursuing your, sometimes lofty, goals in the face of all sort of challenges the world throws at you gives you, we believe, gives you an edge in an ever increasingly & confusing world.”
